Susan Wagner's painting style is closely related to Fauvism, which emphasizes painterly qualities, the imaginative use of color and simplified lines.
Although Susan's roots are in painting she took an extended break from painting after college. When she picked up her brushed again Susan began creating very personal paintings that represented her emotional struggles during that period of her life.
Although most of Susan's painting continue to help her translate her experiences, dreams and passions to the world in a way words cannot, this gallery also features a few paintings created for a Pittsburgh sports museum.
